Part one covers using this website. Part two is the agreement between us if you subscribe to Autopilot.

About these terms
This site is operated by AUTOPILOT GMS LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17171012, registered office 56 Hamilton Square, Birkenhead, Wirral, United Kingdom, CH41 5AS.
These terms are in two parts. Part one applies to everyone who uses this website. Part two applies if you subscribe to Autopilot, and together with your order forms the contract between us.
How we handle personal data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
Part one — the website
Using this website
You may use this website for your own business purposes and to find out about Autopilot. By using it you accept these terms.
We work to keep the information here accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free. Pricing, features and comparisons are provided for general guidance and may change.
Where we compare Autopilot with other systems, those comparisons are based on information published by the provider at the time of writing, together with our own experience. Other providers may change their pricing or features at any time.
Content and intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, design, graphics and the Autopilot name and logo, belongs to us or is used under licence. You may not copy or reuse it commercially without our permission.
Third-party names and logos shown on this site, including those of other software providers and trade suppliers, belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Part two — your subscription
Your subscription
When you sign up, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Autopilot for your garage business for as long as your subscription is active and paid for.
You are responsible for your account, for keeping login details secure, and for what the people you give access to do with it.
These terms are between businesses. Consumer cancellation rights do not apply to a business subscription.
The 30-day trial
New customers get 30 days on the full plan. A payment method is required when you sign up, but nothing is taken during the trial.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your first payment is taken at the end of the 30 days and your subscription begins. You can cancel at any point during the trial and you will not be charged.
Billing and price changes
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by direct debit, collected through Stripe, our payment processor. Prices are quoted excluding VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect it again and contact you. We may suspend access if a subscription remains unpaid.
We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before any price change takes effect. If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
We do not offer refunds for payments already taken, including for part-months after cancellation. The 30-day trial is there so you can decide before paying anything.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. There is no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation fee.
Cancelling stops any further payments. Your subscription continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and access ends then.
Your data
The data you put into Autopilot is yours. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for anything other than providing the service to you.
You can export your data at any time while your subscription is active. After cancellation we keep it for 30 days so you can still retrieve it, after which it is deleted.
Where your records include personal data about your own customers, you are the data controller and we act as your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement sets out how we handle that data and forms part of these terms. It is accepted when you sign up, and covers our security measures, the sub-processors we use, what happens in the event of a breach, and deletion when you leave. Our Privacy Policy covers personal data we handle in our own right.
Availability and support
Autopilot is hosted on third-party infrastructure, and availability depends in part on those providers. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
Support is available by phone and through our ticketing system. We aim to respond to urgent issues within a few hours during business hours, and to other requests within 48 hours. These are targets rather than guarantees.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Autopilot unlawfully, or to store or send unlawful content
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the system or anyone else’s data
- resell or provide access to the service to a business that is not yours
- copy, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the software
- use the service in a way that damages it or interferes with other customers
If you send messages to your customers through Autopilot, you are responsible for doing so lawfully, including under the data protection and electronic marketing rules that apply to you.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period.
We are not responsible for problems caused by third-party services you choose to connect to Autopilot, or by your own systems or internet connection.
You remain responsible for keeping your own records as your business and the law require. We encourage you to export your data periodically.
Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or end your subscription if payment remains outstanding, if these terms are breached, or if your use of the service is unlawful or puts other customers at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first and give you the chance to put it right.
If we withdraw the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a period to export your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
