Their advertised rates depend on signing up to their own payment processing, exclude VAT, and their website states a twelve month contract paid by direct debit. Autopilot has no contract at all, and the price you see is the price you pay.

How much does Motasoft cost?+
Motasoft advertise VGM Essential at £65 a month, VGM Plus at £95 and VGM Complete at £149, plus VAT. Those rates apply to customers who sign up to MotasoftPay, their own payment processing. Autopilot is £99, £179 or £279 a month plus VAT, with no conditions attached to the price and no upfront cost.
Do I have to use MotasoftPay to get their advertised prices?+
Their pricing page states that the discounted rates shown are available to customers who sign up with MotasoftPay and are confirmed during sign-up. With Autopilot you can take card payments through Stripe, Dojo or Payment Assist, and your monthly price is the same whichever you choose.
Is there a contract with Motasoft?+
Their website states a 12-month contract paid monthly by direct debit, although their pricing page says there is no fixed term. Worth asking them to confirm which applies. Autopilot has no contract and no minimum term.
Does Motasoft integrate with NAPA and Sage?+
Their pricing page lists GSF Car Parts and GroupTyre for ordering, with no NAPA integration shown. For accounts they integrate directly with Xero and provide export files for Sage and QuickBooks, which you then import yourself. Autopilot orders from GSF, NAPA, partslink24 and Oak Tyres inside the job, and invoices sync straight into Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
Is Autopilot a good Motasoft alternative for a busy workshop?+
For a workshop running several technicians the question is usually what the monthly figure actually covers. AutoPilot Pro is £279 a month with the technician app, online booking, deposits, the full reporting suite and an AI assistant included, and nothing tied to which card processor you use.
